WW: Share, and Switch

Baby Deeds thought my coconut juice looked pretty tasty, so he tried to buy me off with his pacifier:

WW: Ecofriendly, green toys

My boys have found some interesting things to play with this week.
On Saturday, we were at an organic market and purchased 2 sparrows in a bamboo cage for $1.20.

The boys took turns looking at the birds and holding the cage. After a few hours we let them go.

Yesterday, one of the neighbors gave Jojo a grasshopper to play with. He was really proud of it and used it as an action figure. He let it ride in his toy trucks.

I guess "eco friendly toys" are everywhere you look!

Sleeping Angel

I took this picture last weekend of my son Jojo. He will be 4 in a few more weeks! He is such a busy preschooler, it seems like I hardly have time anymore to "gaze" at him like when he was a sleeping baby.

Visit 5 Minutes for Mom to see how you can enter to win a new bedroom set from Home & Bedroom Furniture for your Sleeping Angel.
I would like to win the Summer Breeze Bedroom Set!

WW: Fun in a Thai Mall

We had a fun weekend when we went on an overnight trip to Udon Thani, Thailand.

At the mall, Jojo and Deeds enjoyed riding on several different coin-operated kiddie rides. The cutest one was this little tuk-tuk that they could ride in together:

Jojo was the driver and Deeds was the passenger, next to some strange plastic person. The tuk-tuk goes forward and backward while also rotating slowly in a circle.

I think they rode this one two or three times. It cost 10 baht each time.

After the rides, we each enjoyed a 10 baht ice cream cone (about 35 cents each).

Wordless Wednesday: Part of the Problem

I hated to do it, but we just had to cut down the thick growth around our back gate. I have to get out of the car and manually open the gate every time we come or go, and I was worried that a snake would attack me as I stepped out of the car one day.

Nick saw a snake dragging a huge frog (still alive) by the leg in this spot:

The day after the snake sighting, we sprung into action. This is the view from our driveway:

The alley isn't paved. You can see the tall grass where we stopped clearing (that isn't near our property so we stopped there):
