Last week my 3 1/2-year-old son was quietly busy outside for a good while. Eventually he told me to come outside and see what he had been working on.
He used all of his little toy garden tools (which are metal, so they are actually functional).
He carefully took this small flower out of it's flower pot....
and he "planted" it! I was so touched, and very very proud.

Gotta love a parenting moment like that!
That is just too sweet! In my house, the opposite usually happened. They would give me a "bouquet" (roots and all) with the flower I had just spend hours planting! Thanks for visiting my blog this week!
