I am a traveler. There was a time when no self-respecting backpacker would be caught without a Nalgene bottle dangling from a carabiner on the side of his or her pack.
If you were REALLY hip, you used the same Nalgene bottle ALL THE TIME and personalized it with stickers that referenced obscure places, bands, or eco-clubs.
When the news about the possibly harmful side effects of BPA in plastic food containers came out, I didn't want to take any risks with my health, so I tossed all of my BPA plastics, including offending sippy cups, baby bottles, and my beloved sports bottles.
I was so excited to learn that Nalgene has a line of BPA-free bottles! I am proud to say that we have a set for the whole family!

My FAVORITE new BPA-free offering from Nalgene are these adorable Grip-N-Gulp bottles! It is the convenience and spill-proof qualities of a sippy cup, but the Grip-N-Gulp looks a lot more "grown up" than a standard sippy.
Both of my boys love using the Grip-N-Gulp. When we first got it, I removed the valve because it was almost too difficult to drink through. Even without the valve, there is very little leakage. At $9.25, I think the Grip-N-Gulp is a great value for a BPA-free kid's cup!

I really like the storage containers. I have glass now and have had a few mishaps when they have slipped out of my hands and hit the tile floor. I would love something that was a bit more durable.
As for how I would use the bottles? My son would definitely love the sippy - he really loves to have grown up looking cups to drink from, and I really love the spill proof protection of a sippy. Best of both worlds!

Ahhh...I love Nalgene. When my sister got her first Nalgene water bottle, we threw it down the basement stairs to see if it really was unbreakable. That was when we learned that the black lids were not unbreakable...only the blue ones. then she couldn't use her bottle for a week while we waited for a new lid...oops!
I like their 16 oz bottles...they help me keep on track with my water intake. One bottle in the morning, one with lunch, one in the afternoon, then a glass of water with dinner, and I always have more in the evening.

Nalgene's storage containers are efficiant. I liked the 32oz PC jar in glacier blue. I like packing snacks in containers instead of buying the high priced mini bags of snacks.
I would use the bottles for my 1st grader who refuses to use the drinking fountain at school. Our pediatrican told him not to use it to take his own water. I was sending him with bottles but that was wasteful so I send in a plastic bottle.
We would use them everyday! They would be perfect - one for each of us to use on the go..my husband, my self and my little boy who is ready to move on beyond his sippy cup. I have one reusable water container for me and I get so annoyed when I get somewhere and have forgotten it and have to buy water. So, this way one would always be free and one could be in the wash. I'm trying to convert my husband to using one, so having his own might do the trick.

Actually, the Grip-N-Gulp looks like something we could really use. We are always out and about, and I hate buying water. I don't, I carry an old - over a year old bottled water bottle that I refill. But I'd love to have something like this that would fit in my backpack (diaper bag).
My daughter loves to drink out of my water bottle, but I don't always have plain water in it (usually Crystal Lite). I'd love for her to have her OWN bottle, just like Mama's. That would save many a battle!

we use our current nalgenes the most for sunday sports. my husband drinks almost all of his 48 oz. since he's actually playing, while my son and i will sip through a 24 oz.. we also love the nalgene 2 oz. containers, which i use for my son's snacks and food =)
and i just have to say it's really cool that nalgene has gone BPA-free. we threw out all of their BPA ones and had to rebuy. i wish they had a replacement program like BRU did with avent bottles, but alas..
i also wish they had cool designs for their 48 oz. jumbo nalgene!
